Katy Perry Ft. Juicy J - Dark Horse

This is an interesting combination, but this track has a sick trap feel to it. I can't really tell how I feel about it right now, but I'm sure it will grow on me in the next few days. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Wale - Black Grammys (Ft. J. Cole, Meek Mill, & Rockie Fresh)

We have four of the hottest artists in the game getting in on this sick track. 'Black Grammys' has that classy sounding beat combined with some incredible verses. Every single one of these guys goes off on this track. Give it a listen.

Justin Timberlake - TKO

JT has another hit with 'TKO' that features a beat produced by Timbaland. There's not too much to say since we've all come to love JT and his tracks are always full of swag. Give this one a listen.

Big Sean - Ashley Ft. Miguel

This one isn't super new since it was dropped on Big Sean's album a couple weeks ago. But, 'Ashley' has quickly become one of my favorite hip hop/rap songs. The hook is so smooth and Big spits some tight verses to this one. Check it out.

Huey Mack - Be Alright Ft. Mike Stud

This is a sick new song from Huey Mack. The beat, produced by Lu Balz, is so tight and almost has some electro house build line. Mike Stud has hopped on this track and spits fire like he typically does. The hook is so smooth as well. Check it.

Drake -Nothing Was The Same [FULL ALBUM STREAM!!!]

This is an exclusive leak of Drake's upcoming album, 'Nothing Was The Same.' This full album stream is incredible. It starts off with a solid first track called, 'Tuscan Leather' that straight goes off. I'm currently listening to this shit now, but I am pumped for the rest of the album to hit my ear drums. Give it a listen.

Ryan Leslie Ft. Fabolous - Green

This is a sick track from Ryan Leslie's project 'Black Mozart.' It has a smooth hook and Fabolous adds some sick verses as usual. Check it out.

Nelly Ft. Daley - Heaven

This is a leak off of Nelly's upcoming mixtape 'M.O.' that is set to drop September 30th. It's a classic Nelly style song with some solid verses and a sick hook. Give it a listen!

Sean Brown Ft. Kid Ink - Doin Nothin

This is the final leak off of Sean Brown's upcoming mixtape 'Whole Foods 2.' The track is kind of mellowed out but the beat is still pretty solid. It's a solid track to do nothing to. Check it out and download it now!

Lil Wayne - Dedication 5 [MIXTAPE] [FREE DL]

Weezy just dropped this mixtape yesterday. It features a ton of big names including the Weeknd on the first track, T.I., Birdman, 2 Chainz, and more. Take a listen to this shit and enjoy.

Eminem - Survival [CDQ]

This is Eminem's latest track called 'Survival' that is featured on the new Call of Duty: Ghosts soundtrack. Per usual, Eminem goes off on this track. The hook is pretty standard and the beat isn't special, but it's nice to have some new material from Detroit's finest. Check it.

Chiddy Bang - Breathe

I just picked this track up for FREE from hotnewhiphop.com. It's a new chill track from Chiddy Bang. The beat has a smooth guitar and synth bass that make this a perfect track to listen to as the summer comes to a close. Check it out.

Big Sean - First Chain (Ft. Nas & Kid Cudi)

Here's another song off of Big Sean's upcoming album, 'Hall of Fame.' This song has a simple beat but it has a unique sound. Nas and Cudi do a great job getting on this track. I'm pumped for the album to drop on August 27th. Listen.

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

Hoodie Allen - Same As Before (Ft. Jared Evan)

Fresh off of his new EP 'Americoustic,' Hoodie Allen has released this new track called 'Same As Before.' It's a pretty catchy song that features some good verses and a great chorus. You definitely need to listen to the rest of the EP because it is pretty impressive. Get this song though!

Drake - Hold On, We're Going Home

October's Very Own has just released this track that is heavily loaded with some Drake singing. It's been tough to find outstanding Hip Hop tracks for me lately because there are so many new faces in the game. Anyways, you can be the judge for yourself and determine if you're a fan of this one. It's not too bad, but it's just not what I was expecting. Listen.

Big Sean - Fire

I snagged this song a couple weeks ago. If you haven't heard it yet, it's a sick new song from Big Sean who has been killin' the game lately. 'Fire' is a tight track that really does a great job of featuring Big Sean's talent. Give it a listen and enjoy!

YONAS - Girls Of Summer

Here's the latest from YONAS. A summer oriented song released at the perfect timing. Hopefully, we'll get some nicer weather to go with. YONAS goes for an upbeat style here that will give some energy to your summer. The song can be downloaded for FREE by clicking the down arrow on the right side of the player.

Girls Of Summer by YONAS

Mike Stud - Relief [FULL ALBUM]

Mike Stud straight killed it with his first full album. It's called 'Relief' and he proves why he is in the same league as the top artists in the game. He posted his entire album to his YouTube channel for all of us. Check this out and support this great artist by purchasing his album on iTunes.

Mac Miller: The Space Migration Sessions - Objects In The Mirror (with The Internet)

Mac Miller has really been trying to drop his party boy image and here he drops into almost an R&B type sound. It's nice to get something a little different out of him, but he was killin' it before he got super famous. Anyways, check out this video and see what he's up to. His new album 'Watching Movies With The Sound Off' is set to be released on the U.S. iTunes on June 18. It should be interesting to see what style he goes with.

K Theory - Watch Me Kill It

This is a sick song from K Theory that I just found. The song is labeled as a bass-hip-hop song on SoundCloud. It's a little tough to explain what that means, but listen to this beat and you'll understand. Pump up those subs because this song goes off.

The Triads - All Around The World

Sorry about the lack of posts lately! I've been very busy with my job this summer and haven't had time to do too much musical research. Luckily, The Triads, comprised of Deen Garba, James Black, and Shaheen Lashani, contacted me with their latest single, 'All Around The World.' The Triads are an alternative hip-hop group from Greensboro, North Carolina and they are on the rise. Check out their Facebook page and give them some love. I'm going to give you all a bonus too with another one of their songs, 'We Got It Wrong Ft. St. Lucia' that's just dope.

The Notorious B.I.G. - Everyday Struggle (Dead Battery Remix)

The one and only B.I.G. just had one of his songs remixed by Dead Battery. The song is so smooth and still full of life. Obviously, you can't replace and Biggie Smalls original, but this remix is pretty sick. Check it.

YONAS - Pocket Full of Dreams

This is the latest release from YONAS. The beat has a heavy sub bass line that gives the song a unique sound that's very different from his typical upbeat songs. Give it a listen and download for free.

Kid Ink - Sunset

I'm a couple days late on this one, but Kid Ink just dropped this sick, chill track off of his upcoming EP, 'Almost Home,' that will be available May 28th. I don't think there's a DL link for this one yet, but I'm pretty pumped for the EP because Kid Ink has been putting out some real shit.

Hoodie Allen - Make It Home Ft. Kina Grannis

Hoodie just released this sick new track. The beat is incredible and Kina Grannis has a great voice. This is a typical Hoodie Allen track with his smooth flow and glimpses of singing. This is a must-have track. Check it out.

Sunday, May 12, 2013

Sammy Adams - LA Story Ft. Mike Posner

Sammy Adams has substantially reduced the number of tracks he puts out due to the fact that he was dropped by his label awhile ago for being too big of douchebag. However, his most recent songs have been f*cking dope. This is 'LA Story,' that features Mike Posner on the hook. It's a sick, chill song.

Harry Fraud - High Tide EP

Harry Fraud continues to put out some sick stuff. Check this mixtape out and get it now. The beats are dope and Harry Fraud continues to get the big name artists to spit on his tracks.

Jay-Z - $100 Bill [FULL]

This is the full version of the '$100 Bill' song by Jay-Z. The song is sick as you already know. I'm a little late, but here it is.

Mike Stud - Relief [Album Trailer]

So this trailer doesn't give any indication to what the songs will be like, but Mike Stud's new album 'Relief' is dropping TOMORROW. I'm expecting big things from this guy. He's had an interesting journey from being a top prospect college baseball player to now being a top hip hop artist. Be prepared.

Mac Miller - Watching Movies

This is a new, interesting song from Mac Miller. The beat has an eery feel to it, but Mac spits some fire. It's becoming pretty apparent that Mac Miller is trying to put the party-music style in his past and move more towards standardized hip hop. Check this out.

Timeflies - I Need Your Love

Timeflies is back with another Timeflies Tuesday. This time he spits a couple of sick verses and samples Ellie Goulding's 'I Need Your Love.' The song definitely has his party-music style, and the samples fit in perfectly.

Yonas - Feel The Love

I can't remember if I posted this song before, but Yonas released it on his SoundCloud a couple days ago. It's a typical Yonas song with a lot of energy and some good sampling. Check it.

Feel The Love by YONAS

J. Cole - Cole Summer

Alright, so I know this song's been out for a week or two now, but I've gotten a little behind because of my job. Anyways, this song is chill as hell. Check it out yo.

Mac Miller - S.D.S.

Mac just dropped this new track called 'S.D.S.' that is really chill. The song, produced by Flying Lotus, will be featured on his upcoming album 'Watching Movies With The Sound Off.' I'm not sure what to expect since Mac has changed his style so much recently. Check this song out though.

Rich The Ruler - Between The Lines (Foolish)

Rich Smith, aka Rich The Ruler, is from my hometown Batavia, Illinois and he has been putting out some dope songs. He just released an unfinished (not mastered) version of his newest track, 'Between The Lines.' If you listen to his older work, you can tell that he's really been pushing his limits and improving his flow and delivery a lot. Check out his website to download his free mixtapes: http://www.richtheruler.com/ . Also, like his Facebook page and be sure to share his songs if you're a fan. He knows what it takes to make it big and I believe that he has the talent to go the distance. Give him some love.

Between The Lines (Foolish) by RichTheRuler01

Jay-Z - $100 Bill (Snippet)

This is a f*cking SICK snippet of '$100 Bill' by Jay-Z that is going to be featured on the soundtrack for 'The Great Gatsby' that is set to be released May 10th. If the rest of the soundtrack has this much quality, I might be tempted to get it. Suprisingly, I couldn't find a full-length leaked version, so we'll all have to wait a couple weeks, but listen to this now and hear the greatness.

Mac Miller (Larry Fisherman) - SHOWTIME (Mixtape)

Mac Miller, under his production stage name "Larry Fisherman," dropped this mixtape on 4/20. The tape features Mac and a ton of other artists that have started producing. It definitely has the feel of the last tape that "Fisherman" released with the cool, jazz-like touch to it. I'm not sure what to think of it yet, but I was hoping there would be more Mac and not as much Fisherman. Give it a chance for now.

Kanye West - 2001 Demo Tape (Unreleased)

This is a demo tape from Kanye West that was previously unreleased. It has tracks dating back to 2001, some of which you've heard, some of which you haven't. I haven't had time to listen to the whole thing yet, but so far it's dope. Check it out and download it for free from hotnewhiphop.com.

Jetpack Jones - Good Tree

We didn't get the Wiz and Curren$y tape, but here's a solid 4/20 song for you. Produced by Brock Berrigan, 'Good Tree,' is a sick, chill song that's perfect for 4/20. Give it a listen.

Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y Songs - Cabana

Wiz & Curren$y are dropping their mixtape 'Live In Concert' tomorrow, 4/20, of course. This is the first track released from the tape and it has a really chill, live sound to it. I was reading the comments associated with this post on HNHH and a lot of people were hatin. If you're a fan of Wiz's songs on his previous albums and tapes, you might not enjoy this one as much, only because the style is completely different. I'm a fan, though, and will be posting the rest of the tape tomorrow! Be ready.

**EDIT: So apparently, the countdown on HNHH was wrong because the tape wasn't released today and it now says "coming soon" again. Sorry for the disappointment. We were all faked out.**

Ludacris Ft. Young Jeezy - Raised In The South

Another couple of big name guys teamed up to release this song, 'Raised In The South,' that is sick. The song will be featured on Luda's upcoming mixtape 'I Don't Give a Fuck,' that will be produced by Metro. I'm not sure as to when the release date is set, but I will keep you posted! Listen and download this bad boy.

DJ Khaled - No New Friends (Ft. Drake, Rick Ross, & Lil Wayne)

This is a dope track produced by Boi-1da & 40 that has some sick verses from big names Drake, Rick Ross and Weezy. The song is hotttt and should be playing on speakers near you soon. The hook is chill and features none other than Drake because he always kills hooks, even when they are as simple as in this song.

Funkmaster Flex - Who You Mad At? Me Or Yourself? Pts 1 & 2

Alright, so I could not pass this mixtape up. There are two parts that feature just about every huge artist in the game - Weezy, Wale, Fabolous, Kendrick Lamar - the list goes on and on. It would be a huge mistake for anyone to not get this tape because it has some dope songs that are yours for FREE. Check it out!

Havoc Ft. Lloyed Banks - Life We Chose

This song produced by Havoc is so tight. I've never heard of him before this, but I am thoroughly impressed. This beat is so chill and his flow is perfect. Give this track a listen.

Juicy J - Ain't No Coming Down

Juicy J let this track loose today and it is sick. It is also FREE. His debut album 'Stay Trippy' is set to be dropped soon, but he wanted to build everyone's anticipation by giving this for free. Get it.

Travi$ Scott feat. T.I. & 2 Chainz - Upper Echelon

This is a sick single just dropped by Travi$ Scott featuring some big guns, T.I. and 2 Chainz. This beat is so solid and all three of them just kill their verses. You can't ask for much more. Check it.

Kendrick Lamar - Hub City Threat: Minor Of The Year [Mixtape]

Kendrick Lamar's latest mixtape is full of quality. It has six solid tracks that go off. He continues to rise on my list of favorites in the rap game. Definitely go and download this tape. You won't be disappointed.

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

Rockie Fresh - Panera Bread (Ft. Rick Ross & Lunice)

Rockie Fresh just dropped this dope track. The beat is a little out there and it has a trap music sound to it, but the verses are sick. The song isn't that great the first time you listen to it, but I'm on number 3 now and it's definitely growing on me. We'll see, but give it a chance.

Rockie Fresh - Panera Bread (Ft. Rick Ross & Lunice) by Thissongissick.com

Tray Jack - Here We Go

This is the latest from Tray Jack! The beat has an 80's beat sound to it with a rough sounding kit and rounded synth. Not sure how I feel about the vocoder during the hook, but the song is super chill. I definitely recommend getting it since it is FREE! Check it yo.

Thunderbird Gerard - Trouble

This is a dope, chill track that Thunderbird Gerard just dropped. The beat was produced by DJ Stickle & Steddy and has a nice bounce and clap pattern. The hook is smooth and works really well with the song. Give it a listen.

DJ Felli Fel Ft. Ne-Yo, Tyga, & Wiz Khalifa - Reason To Hate

Not that I pay too much attention, but it has been awhile since I've heard something new from DJ Felli Fel. This is a sick song featuring some big name guys - Ne-Yo, Tyga, and Wiz Khalifa. The song has a really catchy hook and the beat is just tight. Check it.

Thursday, April 11, 2013

Jay-Z Ft. Swizz Beatz & Timbaland - Open Letter

Here's the newest release from Jay-Z. This song is so sick, all three of them just kill the track. It's been awhile since I've heard anything new from Jay-Z, but he has done well once again. Check this shit out.

Wednesday, April 10, 2013

Eddie B - Horsepower Mixtape

Here's another mixtape that was dropped pretty recently. The songs are produced by Harry Fraud who has shot up my list of sick producers. Fraud's mixtape, 'Adrift,' that I posted a little while back is incredible. Eddie B does a great job of tearing up these beats, but I'm giving a lot of credit to Fraud.

Big K.R.I.T. - K.R.I.T. Mixtape

Big K.R.I.T.'s newest mixtape just dropped and it's pretty dope. He produced almost all of the songs himself, and continues to spit some fire on them. 'Country Shit' is still probably my favorite song by K.R.I.T., but this mixtape is solid. Check it out and download for free.

Mike Stud - Past Gone

Here's the newest from Mike Stud called, 'Past Gone.' It's a song he wrote about a girl he met on his latest tour. Her story changed his life and he wanted to show his support for her with this song. Check it out.

Wednesday, April 3, 2013

Kid Cudi - Girls Ft. Too $hort

'Girls' is the latest release from Kid Cudi that will be on his upcoming album 'Indicud.' Cudi recently announced his departure from Kanye West's G.O.O.D. label, which leads me to believe that he has some big plans to start a label of his own. Cudi continues to impress with this song, and the anticipation of his newest album continues to grow. Check it out.

Timeflies - Stay

Timeflies is a sick hip hop artist that has taken over the party music scene. This is his new song released on his YouTube channel a couple weeks ago. Every few weeks he uploads some new songs so I definitely recommend subscribing to his channel. This song features samples from Rihanna's 'Stay.'

Chiddy Bang - Friday (On My Way)

This is the newest from Chiddy Bang called 'Friday.' The beat produced by The Hood Internet is pretty chill, but Chiddy turns it up and kills it. I'm not sure how I feel about the use of a vocoder, but the song is still great.

Tuesday, March 26, 2013

Yonas - Temptation Ft. Lucian Walker

Yonas just dropped this new track. 'Temptation' is a little more mellowed out from his typical party music style, but he still maintains a decent amount of energy. I've become a huge fan of Yonas thanks to my friend Josh Singer. He spits some truth and his beats are always dope. Check it out.

**EDIT: So actually he dropped his EP 'The Black Canvas' about a month ago that included this song and 9 others. You can get it on iTunes now!**

Tayyib Ali - The Script

Here's the newest from Tayyib Ali. It's another sick, but chill beat and Tayyib just kills it. This kid has got some real talent and I really think he's going to get big. Listen to this.

2Am Club - Moon Tower (Mixtape)

This is a chill mixtape from the 2Am Club. The mixtape features some of my favorite hip hop artists like Chiddy Bang and Big Sean. The beats vary a lot, but you will definitely get a party vibe from this mixtape. Check it out.

Mac Lethal - "Everyday Looper" Rap/Sun Storm

If you've never heard of Mac Lethal, he is a sick, fast-spitting rapper from Kansas City, Missouri. His song 'Sun Storm' was featured as the outro on the first season of 'America's Best Dance Crew.' Finding that song was how I found out about him. He recently uploaded a video to his YouTube account where he uses an awesome app called 'Everyday Looper' to quickly create his own beat and then he spits fire all over it. I highly recommend getting the app if you have a few extra iTunes $$ to spend. I just got it and although it takes a little time to figure it out, there is so much potential. Check out these videos.

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

Chip Ivory - Dead Gold (Ft. The Notorious B.I.G., Macklemore & Ryan Lewis)

I decided to post this one under the hip hop/rap category just because the main lyrical line is B.I.G. Chip Ivory is a great mashup artist that just released this song a week and a half ago. It's really catchy and Biggie's lyrics work perfectly with the melody. Make sure to check out Chip Ivory's other stuff on his SoundCloud.

Chip Ivory - Dead Gold (The Notorious B.I.G. x Macklemore & Ryan Lewis) by Chip Ivory

Shlohmo - Bo Peep Ft. Jeremih

I'm not sure if I've ever heard a more chilled out hip hop song. This song has a bass-filled background with smooth square synth jingle that adds to the unique sound. Give it a chance and listen.

Tuesday, March 19, 2013

Fat Joe Ft. Wiz Khalifa & Teyana Taylor - Ballin'

Fat Joe is far from my favorite artist in the rap game, but this song is sick. The beat, produced by Illa The Producer and Infared, is incredible. It has some nice plucks and hits that give it a unique song that is perfect for these guys.

Kendrick Lamar Ft. Jay-Z - Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe (Remix)

This is a sick, chilled-out hip hop song. Kendrick Lamar is one of the best in the game in my opinion. Obviously, Jay-Z has plenty of credentials to back his skill, but this song is dope. The hook is awesome too. Give it a listen.

Friday, March 15, 2013

Tray Jack - Love Notes

I just found this guy, Tray Jack, and he is sick. This is his song 'Love Notes' that is amazing, but he has some other great songs where he raps of beats produced by people like Brenton Duvall. Here is Tray Jack's SoundCloud where you can listen to his stuff. There are a couple free downloads if you like his Facebook page. Take a listen.

DJ Drama - So Many Girls (Ft. Tyga, Wale, & Roscoe Dash)

This is a new song from DJ Drama. It's pretty casual and chill, but I'm a fan. DJ Drama has some great songs like 'My Moment' that I recommend you check out if you like this one.

Blood Diamonds - Barcode Ft. Dominic Lord

Alright, so I was a little hesitant when deciding which section to put this song in. It's labeled as a trap song coming from Blood Diamonds who is signed under Skrillex's always-growing label OWSLA. To me, this song sounded like a unique rap song rather than anything related to EDM. Anyways, check it out. The hook is sick - I really like the combination of dirty bass and deep hip hop vocals.

Monday, March 11, 2013

Aer - Take It Wrong

Aer is a sick duo that puts out some of the chillest songs I've ever heard. This is their newest 'Take It Wrong' that is almost beyond chill. Give this one a listen and enjoy. Also, make sure to check out Aer's music. They're a really talented group.

Dizzy Wright Ft. Joey Bada$$ - Maintain

This track just dropped a few minutes ago, but I already love it. It's a solid, chill song that has an old-school feel to it. If you're into 90's rap, you'll probably enjoy this. Even if you don't, I'm sure you'll like this just because it's so smooth.

Harry Fraud - Adrift (Mixtape)

I've already posted a couple of songs from this mixtape, but it finally dropped this past weekend. I figured I should share the rest of this sick tape with you all. There are 21 solid songs. I recommend listening to this all the way through at least once, but I guarantee you'll find some songs that you like.

Sunday, March 10, 2013

Harry Fraud Ft. Mac Miller - On My Shit

This is a tight, chill song by Harry Fraud. Mac Miller spits some of his typical college party lyrics to this. It's a pretty solid song. Definitely one of the better ones I've heard from Mac Miller recently. Listen.

Compton Menace Ft. Wiz Khalifa & The Game - Ain't No Changing Me (Remix)

Sick remix featuring Wiz Khalifa and The Game. The beat is pretty chill, the hook is average, the verses are dope. Pretty typical for a solid hip hop/rap song. Check it and enjoy.

Friday, March 8, 2013

Dan Henig - Get Low Cover

This kid performed this hilarious, but amazing cover of Lil Jon's 'Get Low' at a coffee shop near where my school is. My friend Josh showed me the video awhile back, but I totally forgot about it until now. Dan is an incredible artist and you can find his 'Promotional EP' on iTunes. Take a listen, laugh, and support this guy!

Mike Stud - Dreamin'

Mike Stud puts out some of the best college rap you can find. This song is pretty catchy, and the beat, produced by Scott Storch, is so sick. Honestly, I feel like anyone could spit to this and sound amazing, but Mike Stud kills it nonetheless.

Action Bronson - Morey Boogie Boards

This is the first song I've heard by Action Bronson, and I was actually pretty impressed. He looks like the white version of Rick Ross, not that that has anything to do with the song. But, this beat is just straight dirty. Check it.

Drake - 5AM In Toronto

I still believe that Drake is one of the sickest in the game. His verses are always tight and real. This is a freestyle he released that was produced by Boi-1da. The beat is simple, but it's just a dope song.
