Yonas just dropped this new track. 'Temptation' is a little more mellowed out from his typical party music style, but he still maintains a decent amount of energy. I've become a huge fan of Yonas thanks to my friend Josh Singer. He spits some truth and his beats are always dope. Check it out.

Here's the newest from Tayyib Ali. It's another sick, but chill beat and Tayyib just kills it. This kid has got some real talent and I really think he's going to get big. Listen to this.

This is a chill mixtape from the 2Am Club. The mixtape features some of my favorite hip hop artists like Chiddy Bang and Big Sean. The beats vary a lot, but you will definitely get a party vibe from this mixtape. Check it out.


 

Mac Lethal - "Everyday Looper" Rap/Sun Storm

If you've never heard of Mac Lethal, he is a sick, fast-spitting rapper from Kansas City, Missouri. His song 'Sun Storm' was featured as the outro on the first season of 'America's Best Dance Crew.' Finding that song was how I found out about him. He recently uploaded a video to his YouTube account where he uses an awesome app called 'Everyday Looper' to quickly create his own beat and then he spits fire all over it. I highly recommend getting the app if you have a few extra iTunes $$ to spend. I just got it and although it takes a little time to figure it out, there is so much potential. Chip Ivory - Dead Gold (Ft. The Notorious B.I.G., Macklemore & Ryan Lewis)

I decided to post this one under the hip hop/rap category just because the main lyrical line is B.I.G. Chip Ivory is a great mashup artist that just released this song a week and a half ago. It's really catchy and Biggie's lyrics work perfectly with the melody. Make sure to check out Chip Ivory's other stuff on his SoundCloud.

Shlohmo - Bo Peep Ft. Jeremih

I'm not sure if I've ever heard a more chilled out hip hop song. This song has a bass-filled background with smooth square synth jingle that adds to the unique sound. Give it a chance and listen.


 

Fat Joe Ft. Wiz Khalifa & Teyana Taylor - Ballin'

Fat Joe is far from my favorite artist in the rap game, but this song is sick. The beat, produced by Illa The Producer and Infared, is incredible. It has some nice plucks and hits that give it a unique song that is perfect for these guys.


 

Kendrick Lamar Ft. Jay-Z - Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe (Remix)

This is a sick, chilled-out hip hop song. Kendrick Lamar is one of the best in the game in my opinion. Obviously, Jay-Z has plenty of credentials to back his skill, but this song is dope. The hook is awesome too. Give it a listen.


 

Tray Jack - Love Notes

I just found this guy, Tray Jack, and he is sick. This is his song 'Love Notes' that is amazing, but he has some other great songs where he raps of beats produced by people like Brenton Duvall. DJ Drama - So Many Girls (Ft. Tyga, Wale, & Roscoe Dash)

This is a new song from DJ Drama. It's pretty casual and chill, but I'm a fan. DJ Drama has some great songs like 'My Moment' that I recommend you check out if you like this one.

 

Blood Diamonds - Barcode Ft. Dominic Lord

Alright, so I was a little hesitant when deciding which section to put this song in. It's labeled as a trap song coming from Blood Diamonds who is signed under Skrillex's always-growing label OWSLA. To me, this song sounded like a unique rap song rather than anything related to EDM. Anyways, check it out. The hook is sick - I really like the combination of dirty bass and deep hip hop vocals.

 

Aer - Take It Wrong

Aer is a sick duo that puts out some of the chillest songs I've ever heard. This is their newest 'Take It Wrong' that is almost beyond chill. Give this one a listen and enjoy. Also, make sure to check out Aer's music. They're a really talented group.

  

Dizzy Wright Ft. Joey Bada$$ - Maintain

This track just dropped a few minutes ago, but I already love it. It's a solid, chill song that has an old-school feel to it. If you're into 90's rap, you'll probably enjoy this. Even if you don't, I'm sure you'll like this just because it's so smooth.


 

Harry Fraud - Adrift (Mixtape)

I've already posted a couple of songs from this mixtape, but it finally dropped this past weekend. I figured I should share the rest of this sick tape with you all. There are 21 solid songs. I recommend listening to this all the way through at least once, but I guarantee you'll find some songs that you like.


 

Harry Fraud Ft. Mac Miller - On My Shit

This is a tight, chill song by Harry Fraud. Mac Miller spits some of his typical college party lyrics to this. It's a pretty solid song. Definitely one of the better ones I've heard from Mac Miller recently. Listen.

 

Compton Menace Ft. Wiz Khalifa & The Game - Ain't No Changing Me (Remix)

Sick remix featuring Wiz Khalifa and The Game. The beat is pretty chill, the hook is average, the verses are dope. Pretty typical for a solid hip hop/rap song. Check it and enjoy.

 

Dan Henig - Get Low Cover

This kid performed this hilarious, but amazing cover of Lil Jon's 'Get Low' at a coffee shop near where my school is. My friend Josh showed me the video awhile back, but I totally forgot about it until now. Dan is an incredible artist and you can find his 'Promotional EP' on iTunes. Take a listen, laugh, and support this guy!

  

Mike Stud - Dreamin'

Mike Stud puts out some of the best college rap you can find. This song is pretty catchy, and the beat, produced by Scott Storch, is so sick. Honestly, I feel like anyone could spit to this and sound amazing, but Mike Stud kills it nonetheless.

 

Action Bronson - Morey Boogie Boards

This is the first song I've heard by Action Bronson, and I was actually pretty impressed. He looks like the white version of Rick Ross, not that that has anything to do with the song. But, this beat is just straight dirty. Check it.


 

Drake - 5AM In Toronto

I still believe that Drake is one of the sickest in the game. His verses are always tight and real. This is a freestyle he released that was produced by Boi-1da. The beat is simple, but it's just a dope song.


 

Vado - Don't Make Me Do It

This is a huge song by Vado featuring Ace Hood, Meek Mill, French Montana & DJ Khaled. It's going to be on Flex's upcoming mixtape. I'm a big fan of songs that feature a lot of different people because of the diversity in flow styles. Give this one a listen.


 

Lupe Fiasco - Light Blue

This is a sick new song from Lupe. It doesn't seem like anyone was expecting this one since he has a new album, 'Tetsuo & Youth', coming out. If I remember correctly, the album will be his last as a hip hop/rap artist. Regardless, take a listen and enjoy.


 

Yonas - The Proven Theory (Album)

Yonas kills it again with his newest album, 'The Proven Theory.' You can get it on iTunes now. It's a pretty chilled out album compared to his older work. You can tell he's matured from his college party music sound to this more classic hip hop/rap style.

Juicy J - Constant Conversations (Remix)

Another chill Juicy J track that I found. He spits to Passion Pit's 'Constant Conversations.' I was surprised and actually really liked the song. He only has one verse, but it works pretty nicely with the beat and I wish he had done another verse later on.


 

Juicy J Ft. The Weekend - One Of Those Nights

This is a sick new song from Juicy J. It's a simple, chilled out song that features some decent verses. I don't know what else to really say about it, but definitely give it a listen.


 

Chris Brown - Let The Blunt Go

Here's a new song from Chris Brown that will be featured on Funk Flex's upcoming mixtape 'Who You Mad At? Me Or Yourself.' It's pretty chill, but nothing super special. Check it.


 

Tayyib Ali - Keystone State Of Mind 2 (Mixtape)

This kid has some of the sickest chill rap songs I've ever heard. He just dropped his newest tape and even though I haven't listened all the way through yet, I can say it's pretty good. If you've never heard his stuff, definitely listen to some of the songs from 'Keystone State Of Mind' and you'll be impressed.

Kid Cudi - Immortal

It's been awhile since we've heard a new song from Kid Cudi. 'Immortal' is his newest from his upcoming album 'Indicud' that's supposed to drop April 23rd. It's similar to his older work. I can't tell if I'm a huge fan of this song yet, but I had to post it because I still like Cudi's work.
